When shipping to Iceland, a scientist Trevor Anderson (Brendan Fraser), his niece / nephew Sean (John Hutcherson) and their beautiful guide, Hannah (Anita Briem), trapped in a cave where the only solution to bring them more in the Earth's core. The world that people have never visited before, the trio met with the explorers beings are not imagined - including the man eater of plants, giant flying piranha, shining and the birds Dinosaur from the past. However, there will be an explosion vulkanik and they must find a way out from the belly of the earth before it's too late
